Counties Home Loans has been a huge supporter for us, helping us out with a trailer when we were setting up our first matches, and funding some cool prizes, too. And we've never asked them for a thing.

In typical fashion, Geoff from Counties rang me up when he learned I was heading to Worlds in August, and offered to help fund some of my travel costs, no questions asked and without ever being asked to assist - just a GC helping out shooting sports, and a good mate.

Cooper's first time shooting positional - he makes it look easy!

Really impressed with how he listened to instruction on building his standing position, which is not easy when the LOP is way off for your body size.

We'll keep working on it, but he may be ready to start competing as a junior sometime next year

Some better performance out of the rifle (and myself) at Cold SPARC this last weekend. Still, a bit more work to do on the set up before Taupo, and plenty of training for me as well.

We had a great squad, with George, Josh and myself squadded with @kiwi_precision and @camdynpowers. Not only was it a fun squad to be a part of, but the opportunity to learn from some of the best shooters out there was invaluable.

Managed to get some trigger time this weekend ahead of @sparc22_series Cold Sparc coming up.

The gun needs some love and will be going back to a gunsmith after the match to take some length off the barrel and check headspace, but I've managed to achieve an improvement in dispersion through some judicious torquing of action screws which should see at least a minor improvement on my placing at P10 last month.

Spent some time zeroing and validating data ahead of the P10 Practical tomorrow, with some assistance from @tom_sims_nz.

@mizz_gunrack brought the boys over for some trigger time as well.

@visionprc set up is running very smoothly - looking forward to getting it out to it's first comp!
