Playing with the BXR to get mags dropping nicely. Decided against changing the mag release so close to a shoot, and worked on the mag retention spring instead. Mags dropping nicely and no change in manual of arms

Scores for Run & Gun, Round 7 of the @sparc22_seri

Scores for Run & Gun, Round 7 of the @sparc22_series. With the wind not showing up, some tighter time frames on Hunter Class might have produced a more balanced score table, but I'm really pleased people had a good time, sent a lot of lead down range and rang steel all day! Rifleman Class was spread out a bit more, but still very high scoring with both classes being won with a 100% score.

A lot of the lower scoring shooters had incredibly high hit percentages, speaking to the accuracy of the shots they did take in the time given. For those shooters some of the more balanced or precision-based rounds of the series will undoubtedly net greater rewards.

Round 7 of the @sparc22_series is done and dusted! Run & Gun was a fast-paced, high-scoring, mag-dumping mud fest. Top shooters in Hunter and Rifleman class both scored 100% of possible, with a lot of the top spots dominated by semi-autos. Well done to all the competitors, and great to see some new faces, including more juniors

Turns out I didn't need to be as speedy as I thought with the generous time on this stage at @tlrs_nz Surplus Steel, but a bit of practice with the bayonet did pay off in cool points (at least I think so).
