This was my last stage of the @precisionriflefeder

This was my last stage of the @precisionriflefederation PR22 World Champs, hosted by @gbprecisionrifleassociation - Stage 17, Eley Only Larger.

It was great to end Day 2 and the match on a couple clean stages. Athough I almost got myself out of order on shot 3, which would have been a very disappointing finish!

A huge thank you to the GBPRA, the @wmsghodnet staff and helpers, all the volunteers, ROs and spotters, and the event sponsors - you all did an amazing job!

@viri_nz getting some solid shots off a very slippery roof top stage, including a wide pan on 3 big / small target sets, the longest of which had a decent angle and a distance of 196m.

The Factory boys did well today, coming in 7th as a team - an absolutely solid effort. Day 2 of Open division tomorrow!

Day 2 underway for the factory team, 3 stages in. Lots of movement and sequence work. Some slight but deceptive wind, and good conditions for shooting in the cooler weather and shade

A tough day of shooting, but started off strong and brought my scores back up for the last couple stages. This was my best stage for the day and it was very satisfying to clean a stage at this level of shooting.

90s for 12 shots.
Big / small at 62m from position 1 and 2
Big / small at 88m from position 3, 4, 5
Big / small at 62m from position 6

Conditions were very tough to read throughout the day, with changeable and switchy winds funneling through trees and tracks, giving very different results down range compared to the shooters position.

Day 2 will be shot from within the tree cover, making wind reading more challenging, but the data from day 1 out in the relative open will help with understanding what's happening down range.
